UPDATE: Ouch, ouch, ouch! Wes is an excellent writer, but as a student he's obviously still developing his journalistic skills and instincts. I suspect he'll chalk this up to a learning experience. Kudos to him for owning up, though.
Wesley Morgan is a ROTC student at Princeton who is blogging his experience of spending August in Iraq at the personal invitation of General Petraeus. He's an excellent writer and has been given incredible access to tell the stories of the soldiers he meets, but his latest entry is a doozy. He closes with the following:
I've met some pretty impressive soldiers over here, from Gen. Petraeus to Lt. Col. Peterson, but none of them hold a candle to this one.
