Screams of Frustration

UPDATE: Long story, but it's all fixed now. Yay!!

I have installed a wireless adapter for a desktop computer and for the life of me I can't figure out how to make it work with my browser. The connection is definitely working, but the browser isn't accessing it.

I know it's something basic that I'm having a brain cramp on, but I can't figure it out. Anybody out there who can help me with the brain cramp?
