More than a Slogan

Those of us on the homefront "support the troops" for a variety of reasons. A powerful motivator for many is the feeling that we have to do something in the face of their courage and sacrifice. But how much does what we do really impact them? How much does it matter?

An about-to-return-home Command Sergeant Major tells us today at Blackfive:

Everything we have accomplished has been made possible by and through the support we've received from all back home. In ways too many to count, you lifted us each day, you sustained us; you encouraged us. You gave us something to set our sights on; the prospect of once again, coming home.

Read it all to hear what exactly they accomplished, and how they were impacted by their deployment and the accompanying homefront support.
